Sure Raul Madrid Will Stop Negative Trends
New York – Real Madrid get poor results in the last few games. Attackers legendary El Real, Raul Gonzalez, convinced his former club will be able to stop the negative trend.
Madrid have not won in the last three games in which they live. Los Merengues offset Villarreal 1-1 and then defeated Athletic Bilbao 0-1 and Schalke 04 3-4. If traced back, they only won eight times in 15 matches in all competitions since the turn of the year.
Madrid’s performance dropped dramatically compared to the first half of the season, where they are very consistent and can record 22 consecutive victories.
Raul, who currently plays for the New York Cosmos, believe Madrid is still the same team and have the quality to rise from poor results.
“The season lasts for 10 months. Two months ago Real won 22 times in a row and everyone said how great they are,” said Raul to Grupo Dutriz.
“Now the team suffered some defeats are always painful in a club like Real. But, the players and the coaching staff have the quality to get out of this situation,” he added.
Madrid is now ranked second in La Liga standings, four points adrift of Barcelona who topped the standings. But, they could cut the distance to one point if able to beat Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu on Monday (03/16/2015) pm dawn.
